Rodrigo Terpins, Too, Enjoys Rally Racing, As A Sports Enthusiast

Many loyal rally racing enthusiasts do not usually have what it takes to negotiate the hard stage of the Sertões Rally championships in Brazil, or the courage to take and complete the most advanced rally car driving courses in order to master rally car driving techniques and other “secrets of the craft.”

In fact, Rodrigo Terpins was one of those sports enthusiasts who, despite the fact rally racing is more physically grueling and mentally challenging than its circuit-racing rivals, later entered a unique world of adrenaline-fueled racing along with his younger brother Michel Terpins. After successfully completing five Sertões Rally at the age of 44, the elder brother realized, his career as a professional rallycross driver has been based on three factors: discipline, experience, and patience.

What motivates Rodrigo Terpins?

Rodrigo Terpins, a sports enthusiasts turned rally racing driver, was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He comes from a family of sports enthusiasts, including his father Jack Terpins who is a former basketball player.

In essence, the professional rally racer is motivated by the following facts…

  • 1. Participating in fierce rally competitions
  • 2. Competing in the Prototypes T1 category
  • 3. Achieving and holding each coveted podium position
  • 4. Accumulating the absolute lowest total elapsed driving time
  • 5. Navigating through the most complicated and difficult obstacles and terrains
  • 6. Negotiating off-road surprises like trajectories

Today, both the Brazilian rally driver and his brother and fellow teammate Michel, with whom he founded the Bull Sertoes Rally Team in 2015, exemplify the excellence in professional rally car driving. Since completing his fifth Sertões Rally, the elder Terpins brother has ranked among the best drivers in the category Prototypes T1, even by NASCAR standards. And his continued success has validated that fact. Check out Terra for more details.

Rodrigo Terpins is a proud member and chief driver of the Bull Sertões Rally Team, participating in something that is essentially very different than other types of competitive racing. Now he is still professionally racing along with fellow rallycross driver Fabrício Bianchini, more competitive than ever, due to his enthusiasm and love for his craft and his own indomitable spirit.
